PRIVACY POLICY
This policy explains what information GRABLY uses when you play the game or visit playgrably.io.
Operator details: the public legal owner name and country are intentionally pending and will be added during the final commercial/legal setup. Privacy requests can already be sent to team@playgrably.io.
1. INFORMATION STORED IN YOUR BROWSER
GRABLY uses browser storage for game settings and progress. The current game uses local storage under grably-v1 for preferences/progression and session storage under grably-session for temporary online-session information. Clearing browser storage can remove this information.
2. INFORMATION USED FOR ONLINE MULTIPLAYER
When you play online, the server processes information needed to run the room, including your chosen nickname, character/colour/spell settings, room and game state, control inputs, temporary player/session identifiers, and connection/reconnection data. GRABLY does not currently require your real name, email address or account password to play.
3. TECHNICAL AND SECURITY LOGS
The web server or hosting infrastructure may record standard technical information such as IP address, browser/user-agent data, requested URL, response status, and access time. This is used for security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, reliability and service operation.
4. WHY WE USE THIS INFORMATION
- To deliver the website and multiplayer game.
- To create, join and reconnect room sessions.
- To remember local settings and progression on your device.
- To protect the service from abuse and diagnose technical problems.
- To respond when you contact us.
5. RETENTION
Local browser data remains until you clear it or reset the game. Multiplayer reconnect tokens are temporary; the current server is designed to expire reconnect sessions after approximately 30 minutes. Operational logs are retained only as reasonably needed for security, diagnostics and normal server log rotation.
6. SHARING AND SERVICE PROVIDERS
GRABLY relies on service providers needed to host, secure and deliver the site. We do not sell personal information. GRABLY also uses Google AdSense to support the service with advertising. Google may process information through its advertising technology as described below.
7. ADVERTISING, GOOGLE ADSENSE & CONSENT
GRABLY integrates Google AdSense (Google LLC) for advertising. Depending on your location, device, browser settings and consent choices, Google advertising technology may use cookies, local storage or similar identifiers and may process information such as IP address, browser/device information, advertising identifiers where available, approximate location derived from technical information, pages or ad placements viewed, and interactions with ads. Google uses this information for purposes that may include delivering ads, measuring performance, preventing fraud and abuse, and, where permitted by your choices, personalising advertising.
For regions where Google requires a certified consent platform, GRABLY uses Google's consent management platform (CMP). The message can offer choices such as accepting, refusing, or managing advertising and measurement options. The exact technologies used can vary according to your consent, region and Google's configuration. You can learn more at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
8. YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS
You can clear or reset local browser data at any time. Depending on where you live, privacy law may give you additional rights concerning personal information. You can request help or raise a privacy question at team@playgrably.io.
9. GENERAL-AUDIENCE SERVICE
GRABLY does not currently ask players to provide age, real-world address, payment information or account credentials in order to play. Players should not put sensitive personal information into their nickname.
10. CHANGES
We may update this policy when GRABLY adds features, providers, advertising or legal information. The latest version will always be published on this page with its update date.
